Good Morning, Welcome New Year

Until 2010...

Surprise Surprise

Brave souls.

I had a large extended family session & models from London (just kidding, a grandson & his girlfriend from Wisconsin!) who were a part of this fun group.

The cold weather, midmorning light and earthy tones of the lime kilns produced an excellent look, highlighting the beauty of this unassuming couple.

For a brief moment I did feel as if I were doing an engagement session in Europe.

I know they have plenty of great photographers across the sea, but maybe someone is looking for a midwestern edge!

Who knew winter could be so fun! Wow!

(If you know someone who is recently engaged, pass the word along that an engagement session in the snow is full of potential!)

Meet two very sweet boys, Aidan and Layton.

Four is a great age. They seem to be such incredible sponges, soaking up the world around them and having interesting conversations about it all.

Little Layton at one year, is newly walking and finding out how his legs will carry him.

Ava

Ava is bright, sweet, coordinated, energetic and adorable.

She was able to climb all over and manipulate the hand holds of a craggy rock.

She heard a man playing a loud, low tuba and danced in the sidewalks to his music.  

In one complete minute, she'd run far away from her parents and return for their embrace.

Such is the life of a one year old.  The beginnings of a remarkable person.
